Terms of service
The service
noindexed crawls the pages you register and alerts you by email and Slack when their indexability, robots.txt, canonical tag or status code drifts from what you expect. It only reads your pages — it never edits, redirects or otherwise changes anything on your site.
Beta status
noindexed is currently a free private beta. There is no paid plan yet, no uptime SLA, and features may change or break as the product develops. We will give notice by email before introducing paid plans.
Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email — there is no password to protect, so keep access to that inbox secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Only register sites you own or are otherwise authorized to monitor. Our crawler identifies itself as NoindexedBot/1.0 and honors each site's robots.txt. Do not use the service to scrape, resell access to, or overload third-party sites.
No warranty
Alerts are best-effort: crawl timing, network conditions or an unrelated outage can delay or occasionally miss a check. noindexed is not a substitute for your own release process, and we make no guarantee that every regression will be caught. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, noindexed is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including lost traffic or revenue — arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard, which removes your sites and data per our privacy policy. We may suspend accounts that violate acceptable use.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email; continued use after that means you accept the update.
